Mrs. Ruby Marie Gerwig, 90 of Frederick died Saturday, February 6 at Kline Hospice House, Mt. Airy. She was the wife of the late Bradley Monroe Gerwig, Sr., who died May 7, 1969.
Born October 16, 1919 in Frederick, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Eliza and Myrtle Marie Tucker Swomley.
Surviving are three sons: Bradley M. Gerwig, Jr. of Ladiesburg, James E. Gerwig of Keymar, and Richard L. Gerwig of Frederick; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and two brothers: Daniel Calvin Swomley of Buckeystown and John Richard Swomley of Frederick.
Mrs. Gerwig is at the Robert E. Dailey & Son Funeral Homes, P.A., 1201 North Market Street, Frederick. There will be no visiting or calling at the funeral home.
Funeral services and Interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery will be private.
