MRS. BETTY JANE BROWN, 83 of Foxville, died Friday, January 29 at her residence.
She was born August 2, 1926 in Frederick County, a daughter of the late Hampton and Sadie Smith Wolf.
Surviving is a son: Wade Hampton Brown and wife Nancy of Falling Waters, WV, two grandchildren:
Lisa Marie Cassady and husband Victor of Zullinger, PA, and Richard Allan Brown and wife Laura of
Emmitsburg, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was
preceded in death by a son: Max Hartle Brown and several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Brown is at the Robert E. Dailey & Son Funeral Homes, P.A., 615 East Main Street, Thurmont, where the family will receive friends from 3-6 P.M., Sunday, January 31.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, February 1 at the funeral home with the Rev.
Ronald Kurtz, pastor of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will follow in Mt. Bethel UMC Cemetery.
